EU / EEA / Switzerland
A valid ID card or passport is enough. No registration required for short stays.
Bosnia & Herzegovina, UK, US
Visa-free for tourism up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
Mongolia & many others
A short-stay (Type C) Schengen visa is required. Apply at least 4–6 weeks before travel.

Book an appointment
Apply at the Hungarian embassy/consulate or an authorised visa centre (e.g. VFS) in your country.
Prepare your documents
Passport, application form, photo, travel insurance, flight + accommodation bookings, and our invitation letter.
Attend the interview
Submit biometrics and pay the fee (~80 €). Bring originals plus copies of all documents.
Receive your decision
Processing typically takes 15 calendar days. Plan to apply 6–8 weeks before travel.
